| The Paul Fletcher Trophy, held at Bedford & County on Sunday 18th April, was excellently supported with 20 County players entered, plus many County Executives. Mark Wharton won the Trophy for the fourth time in seven years, and is shown receiving the trophy from Laurie Fletcher, Paul's father. It was played in what were probably the best conditions we've ever had for this event, a warm day with just a little breeze. First prize in the team event went to: David Taylor, Darren Close, Ron Etheridge and David Daniels with the Runners up prize going to: Mark Wharton, Lewis Blair, Jim Simmons and Tony Straccia. The sum of £860.00 was raised for the hospice at St. Johns, Moggerhanger. |
